UM GIVING CENTRE

UM Giving is the heartbeat of philanthropy at the University of Malaya, committed to empowering future leaders and innovators through financial allocations from alumni and external donors. This center connects alumni, donors, and university partners with meaningful opportunities to support transformational projects and initiatives that align with donor values. Additionally, it functions as a hub for receiving donations such as zakat, waqf, infaq, endowment, and general donations.

The goal of UM Giving is to act as a catalyst that transforms philanthropic spirit into impactful programs and developments for institutional excellence and community well-being. The center also facilitates the management of tax exemption applications for related donations.

Philanthropists play a crucial role in UM's transformation, including the institution's financial stability, enabling UM to continue offering world-class education. Alumni and donors are the core of UM's success, helping the university grow and become a leader in innovation and social change.
